Oh, and before you create the group go hunting for a good image that would cover your space. It is best if that image has a black background as I found out doing my own groups. It is easiest if you have the image you want to use ready to go before you create the group. That way you can create the group in one fell swoop and don't need to edit later.
Peter: would you be so kind to create a new group for your world. I think it is proteomics but I figured you better create the group and drive the discussions in it.
Understood. I'm generally a lurker on most bulletin boards, etc. but as you know, I'm unafraid to opine. It will be interesting to see who else shows up. . . . more by email . . .
Yo! Thanks for joining. Invite anyone you can think of that has sort of an academic/R&D slant on computational science. I want to use this truly as a social networking vehicle and thus have more of a 'personal' touch to it, but still discuss professional issues about computational science. Sort of a market research vehicle for you and me.

About Me:
Founder of BioAnalyte Inc., an analytical chemistry data solutions company. In a former life, I was -- quite coincidentally -- also known as Peter Leopold. My title then was Grand Duke of Tuscany before I accepted the position of Leopold II of Austria. (Tuscan gig was better.) The only image I have handy is of myself from the former life.
